STRUCTURE OF PDTTA

TRADITIONAL LEAGUE
 
Regular League Matches:
Three person teams based in individual clubs.
There are two divisions.
Matches consist of nine singles and one doubles, 11-up, best of five sets, however, if either team is playing a junior then only best of 3 sets is played.
Matches are played at individual clubs on weekday evenings.
 
Team Handicap Knockout Competition:
There is a team handicap knockout competition interspersed with the regular league matches throughout the season.
Matches consist of nine singles (all best of three sets) using the handicap allocated by the committee.
Matches are played at individual clubs on weekday evenings.
 
 
POOLE PAIRS
Two person teams.
Teams are seeded by the Poole Pairs administrator with the strongest/weakest players teamed together.
Matches consist of four singles and one doubles, 11-up, best of seven sets.
All matches are played at Bournemouth Sports Club on Thursday evenings.
 
 
OTHER EVENTS
 
Divisional Tournament:
Tournament for all PDTTA members, played once a season.
 
Poole Closed Tournament:
Tournament for all PDTTA members, played once a season.
