Child Okeford Table Tennis Club Summer League 21 August 2007

Child Okeford’s Monday evening summer league has now come to an end and the final results are known. Topping the table with 156 points are Adrian’s Imports which was the only team to win all eleven matches outright. Adrian’s team was made up of himself (Adrian Grimstone) Karl King and Charlie Brown. Well done to them. The Out of Towners came in a good second with 146 points, losing just the one game. There were twelve teams competing in total and here are the final positions.

The novel team names add to the genial flavour of this enjoyable summer event which serves very well to maintain momentum during an otherwise quiet period and which also allows players to keep their hands in, in readiness for the start of the winter league proper. In addition to the table tennis, there may have been a little Raiding and Raving going on and perhaps even some light sabering and Bashing by the Bods.
